Il n'y a pas beaucoup de nouveau ces jours-ci mais voici quelques nouvelles.
Andréanne travaille toujours beaucoup dans la musique. Elle fait partie du "Live Gospel Café." On a récemment entendu l'album qui a été produit après le spectacle de Noël. Tout l'album est très bien réussi. Le duo d'Andréanne avec son amie Sophie est particulièrement touchant... mais je suis peut-être un peu biaisé. Le prochain concert du "Live" est au début juillet à la salle Jean-Grimaldi du cégep André-Laurendeau, à Ville Lasalle. Andréanne travaille aussi avec le Montreal Mass Choir les fins de semaine. Ils font un enregistrement en mai et puis ils ont trois concerts de prévu : le Festival Gospel de Repentigny, un évènement avec Gregory Charles et puis un spectacle au Minnesota.
Moi, je travaille toujours à la même place depuis décembre. Mon projet personnel actuellement, c'est l'album d'Andréanne. Elle m'a demandé de l'aider pour réaliser ce projet qu'elle a depuis quelques années alors j'ai décidé de donner un coup de main. Je fais le plan d'affaires en ce moment. On a rencontré quelques producteurs: Luc Gingras, qui est un bon ami d'Andréanne ainsi que Chris Sélim, le producteur de Luc Dumont. On va aussi rencontré Allen Wilkie, le responsable du "Live Gospel Café." Entre temps, on cherche du financement pour payer pour ce beau projet.
Emilia va bien. Elle a été malade la semaine passée et elle est resté à la maison trois jours pour récupérer. Grosse grippe avec de la fièvre et une toux. La fin de semaine dernière, elle a commencé à aller mieux. C'est dommage mais on a manqué son cours de natation samedi parce qu'elle n'était pas assez en forme. Je ne suis pas certain si je vais m'embarquer pour une autre session puisque Emilia est parfois malade ou bien elle manque quand on voyage. On paie pour une session mais on n'assiste qu'à la moitié des cours.
Cette fin de semaine, on monte à Dolbeau pour un concert. Les parents d'Andréanne habitent là. Je vais jouer de la basse! C'est ma première expérience musical depuis que j'ai joué à la flute à bec vers l'age de 9 ans. Il faut que je pratique... Je ne suis pas trop nerveux alors j'ai hâte de voir comment ça va aller.

Not too much has been happening but here is some news.
Andréanne is working a lot in music ventures. She is a part of the "Live Gospel Café." We recently heard the album that was produced following their Christmas concert. The whole album sounds excellent but I found Andréanne's duet with her friend Sophie particularly touching... though I may be a little biased. Their next concert is at the beginning of July at the Jean-Grimaldi concert hall of the André-Laurendeau college. Andréanne also works with the Montreal Mass Choir on weekends. They are recording an album in May and have three shows planned subsequent to that: the Gospel Festival of Repentigny, an event with Gregory Charles, and a show in Minnesota.
I'm still at the same job since December. Currently, my personal project is Andréanne's album. She asked for my help in completing this project that's been in her mind for several years now so I decided to lend a hand. I'm doing a project plan. We've met with two producers: Luc Gingras, a good friend of Andréanne and Chris Sélim, the producer of Luc Dumont. We have a meeting planned with Allen Wilkie, the leader of the "Live Gospel Café." Throughout this, we are looking for financing for this great project.
Emilia is doing well. She was sick last week and stayed home for three days to rest. She had a fever and a nagging cough. Last weekend she started to feel better. It's too bad because we missed her swimming lesson on Saturday. In fact, I'm not sure if I'm going to register her for another session of lessons. She's sick sometimes and we also travel so I end up paying for a session while we only show up for half of the courses.
This weekend, we're off to Dolbeau for a concert. Andréanne's parents live there. I'm going to play bass! It's my first musical experience since I played the recorder when I was about 9. I have to pratice... I'm not too nervous but I'm anxious to see how it'll go.
